Position Summary:
The incumbent acts as a lead to other Admit Workers, registers patients, verifies insurance or third‑party coverage, schedules, confirms, and cancels patient appointments, performs general clerical and reception duties, and trains new staff while monitoring progress for radiology front‑desk duties and call‑center scheduling. The essential functions listed below are not exhaustive and may be expanded to any duty that reasonably relates to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months experience working in a call‑center setting plus 12 months experience in healthcare, or 12 months experience in a healthcare call‑center.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance and/or government programs.
Experience using office equipment such as printer, copier, fax, scanner.
Experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval.
Ability to maintain an appropriate work pace.
Ability to build effective relationships across the health system.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of university and medical‑center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
Experience with a patient registration software system.
Additional language skills in English and Spanish or Vietnamese.
