Role Overview
Clinical Fellow (CF) in Speech Language Pathology at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Bradford Oaks. Full-time position with a paid two-week orientation and a year-long fellowship providing mentorship and the opportunity to become an independent provider of speech language pathology clinical services.
Responsibilities
Assist residents in recovering from surgeries, regaining strength after illness, preventing falls, and maintaining independence.
Provide clinical services under direct supervision of assigned supervisor and Clinical Speech Director.
Use FEES and standardized assessments to enhance clinical skills and competency.
Document clinical care in accordance with Medicare and insurance guidelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and discharge planning.
Qualifications
Licensed or licensure candidate in Speech Language Pathology.
Familiarity with competency-based clinical practica and ASHA requirements.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice.
Desire to gain independent clinical experience in a skilled nursing setting.
