Responsibilities include nursing care, documentation, medication administration, and resident assessment within licensed practice and individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and document all basic nursing skills within licensure and care plans.
Document care delivery and observe medication administration.
Conduct observations, provide interventions, and assess health status of residents who require additional care.
Assume charge nurse duties when designated, adjusting assignments and schedules as needed.
Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
Assist in developing, revising, and reviewing resident care plans.
Evaluate staff observations and use equipment and supplies accurately.
Replace absent staff as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality and project a positive image of the organization.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
