$33.37 – $45.05 per hour

Responsibilities
Deliver safe and well‑documented patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Apply critical thinking, management, problem‑solving and urgency differentiation in five areas of nursing practice – clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership, and professional development.
Direct and coordinate nursing care in accordance with the American Nursing Association standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective, efficient patient‑care delivery and desired outcomes.
Support the organization’s vision and mission, integrating knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into care provision.
Contribute to quality nursing care through excellent customer service and performance‑improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
Adhere to the code of ethics for nurses, applying interpretative statements.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Nursing experience required; successful completion of a competency assessment expected.
Certification:
Current American Heart Association BLS for at least 90 days after hire; ACLS may be required for some units.
License:
Current Florida nursing license.
Other:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer‑service aptitude; certification in a specialty area preferred.
