Recruiting Manager | Connecting Elite Talent with Exclusive Opportunity Large distribution organization targeting a Finance Manager to join the growing team!

Role is in Allegheny County with hybrid potential post training period.

Compensation 120-130k + 10% bonus

Job Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes using Syteline.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and ongoing financial reporting.

Forecast, track, and analyze capital expenditures.

Support year-end audit activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Perform variance analysis on financial statements and investigate key drivers.

Oversee the monthly physical inventory cycle, including reconciliations and analysis of transaction activity; identify and address risks related to obsolete or slow-moving inventory and data entry errors.

Coordinate the planning, execution, and reconciliation of the annual physical inventory.

Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses for senior leadership.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline, enhance, and automate financial and operational processes.

Analyze labor cost trends and provide insights to support pricing strategies and proposal development.

Collaborate with the General Manager and senior leadership to deliver actionable business insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop, refine, and monitor key performance indicators aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Maintain and document financial and operational policies and procedures.

Identify, assess, and help mitigate key financial and operational risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, with 2–4 years of progressive experience in financial management.

Solid understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, and applicable accounting standards.

Knowledge of contractor/mechanical service accounting practices, including inventory management, job costing, cash management, accounts receivable and payable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and payroll.

Strong financial analysis capabilities with demonstrated leadership skills.

Prior experience in the contractor or mechanical services industry preferred.

Highly organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with flexibility to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.

Proficiency with ERP financial systems and advanced skills in Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
