is seeking an Emergency Response Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety‑conscious team. The role involves hazardous waste clean‑up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
Base Pay Range $14.00/hr - $34.00/hr
Job Details
Valid driver’s license required
Monday‑through‑Friday schedule, typical start 7 am
Average 8‑10+ hour day; overtime after 40 hrs
Up to 40% overnight travel, hotel and per diem provided
Required on‑call every other week
Premium/Emergency pay applies to ERs; overtime only for hours outside regular business hours on standard business days
Training New hires attend a two‑week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company; it is paid training.

Responsibilities
Ensure health and safety is the primary goal by following policies and acting safely.
Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
Operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and powered industrial tools.
Wear and properly use a variety of PPE, including respirators and protective clothing.
Work in various temperatures, indoor and outdoor, all weather conditions.
Work in atmospheres with potential exposure to hazardous, toxic, or corrosive agents.
Work in elevated noise levels, confined spaces, and low‑clearance areas.
Work at elevations, including ladders and scaffolding.
Assist in field sampling activities and meter calibration.
Climb ladders, scaffolding, and enter/exit trucks, tanks, and containers.
Work extended (>8 hrs) time periods.
Attend compliance and safety update meetings.
Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
Safely load and unload hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.
Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as necessary.
Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
Operate vehicles safely per U.S. DOT and other requirements.
Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
Perform site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
Agree to be on‑call (may work weekends/holidays; emergency responses may extend 8–24 hrs).
Complete background check, drug test, and physical examination.
Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection standard 29 CFR 1910.34, including facial hair standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous relevant labor experience.
