Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality while coordinating closely with internal leadership, field teams, and external partners. The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably, on schedule, and to the satisfaction of ownership.
Core Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret and produce clear documentation
Advanced ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
Proficiency in project scheduling software (Microsoft Project or equivalent)
Hands‑on experience using Procore or comparable construction management platforms
Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain cost tracking and reporting tools
Working knowledge of project budgets, cost forecasting, and basic construction accounting
Ability to collaborate effectively with owners, design professionals, field leadership, and trade partners
Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability in managing deadlines and deliverables
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a complete understanding of all contract documents and owner requirements
Serve as the primary point of accountability for project performance, including financial results, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction
Partner with preconstruction and operations leadership to develop and execute a detailed subcontractor buyout plan
Lead trade procurement for assigned scopes and ensure buyout activities align with project milestones
Develop and manage material procurement logs and submittal schedules in coordination with project support staff
Review, track, and approve shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with contract documents and schedule requirements
Collaborate with field leadership and operations management to establish and maintain the overall project schedule
Work closely with the Superintendent to ensure short‑term look‑ahead schedules are accurate, current, and properly distributed
Coordinate and document preconstruction meetings with subcontractors, covering scope alignment, sequencing, manpower planning, and administrative procedures
Facilitate and document owner and design team meetings, ensuring timely distribution of meeting minutes and action items
Prepare and present accurate monthly cost forecasts and proactively communicate any risks to budget or schedule to leadership
Maintain a high level of precision in financial reporting; accuracy in projections is essential to success in this role
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
5–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management
Minimum of 3–5 years managing projects through full lifecycle execution
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within approved budgets
Experience with vertical commercial construction such as automotive facilities or multi‑story storage buildings strongly preferred
