The Planet Group offers a Construction Manager I position (Transmission & Substation) on a 12-month contract.

Base Pay Range $50.00/hr - $53.00/hr

Job Details Construction Manager needed with utility background in substation and transmission to manage safety and day‑to‑day project management duties.

Responsibilities

High level of knowledge about transmission rebuilds and substation installation.

Manage site safety including performance of safety audits.

Provide constructability feedback during design and walk‑downs, and scheduling input.

Review and manage scope change requests.

Assist in managing material availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 10 years in the electrical power industry.

At least 10 years of construction manager experience.

Experience with Word and Excel.

Knowledge of OSHA safety policies and other safety policies.

Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
