is a leading global construction brand that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation. We are seeking a passionate Process Engineer I to join our team in improving manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, and supporting new product development.
Position Summary Applying engineering and chemistry techniques, the Process Engineer assists in improving quality and manufacturing processes and in transitioning new products and processes from R&D to production. The role includes equipment and process design, troubleshooting, reporting, and training personnel. Work is performed under minimal supervision.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Process Lab and New Product Development Support (50%)
Assist NPD projects in compliance with procedures, programs, and policies.
Execute Design of Experiments for pilot plant and production scale-up.
Analyze DOE data to identify improvement opportunities.
Data Analysis / Technical Management (20%)
Analyze product/process data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Verify production requirements and maintain correct JDE1 data.
Ensure compliance with ISO/QMS requirements.
Develop work instructions and provide training on new and improved equipment and processes.
Plant Support (15%)
Identify, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
Support quality and manufacturing process changes to improve OEE, efficiencies, and yields.
Provide support on production/product/quality issues as required.
Recommend equipment design and selection.
Coordinate QA efforts with R&D and plant leadership.
Pilot Plant (15%)
Operate and maintain pilot plant machines, ensuring they meet protocols and specifications.
Execute lab testing for experiments performed in the pilot plant.
Required Skills & Qualifications Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
Specialized Skills and Experience
0–4 years’ experience in a process manufacturing environment.
Self‑starter, capable of working independently with limited supervision.
Ability to handle low‑complexity problems and refer complex issues to higher‑level staff.
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, able to schedule, execute responsibilities, and prioritize in a multitask environment.
Team player with a positive, cooperative attitude toward all employees and customers.
Leadership skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills; familiarity with Mini‑Tab or similar software.
Travel Requirement
Up to 50% domestic and international travel; must have or be able to obtain a passport.
Physical Requirements
Lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
Push or pull 25 pounds.
Stand at least 50–75% of the day.
Sit 25–50% of the day.
Twist/bend 50–75% of the day.
Squat/climb/crawl 20% of the day.
