Industrial Refrigeration Technician - Ammonia Location: 630 John Hancock Rd, Taunton MA Full time Responsibilities
Inspect, monitor, and maintain all ammonia refrigeration systems. Operate and maintain all facility heating and air conditioning systems. Maintain a clean organized parts room; use provided heavier specialty tools; bring the basics. Be part of a skilled team focused on safety, preventative maintenance, and cost savings initiatives. Schedule
Sunday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Compensation and Benefits
Pay: Based on Experience ranging from $28.11 - $42.35 + incentives and night shift premium Earn an additional $2.50 - $4.50 per hour performance incentive Night Shift Premium Annual $500 tool allowance Annual $150 boot allowance Tution Reimbursement Wellness Reimbursement Total Rewards at Gordon Food Service Affordable benefits plans start on day one Weekly pay Wellness reimbursement Profit sharing & 401(k) with company match 95% of leadership is hired from within GFS Qualifications
High school diploma or GED Technical or Refrigeration Engineer Technician Association (RETA) certification preferred HAZMAT certification preferred CARO or CIRO certification preferred Two years of experience operating anhydrous ammonia systems OR HVAC/R experience, or an equivalent combination Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations (OSHA and EPA) with experience writing PSM Gordon Food Service is an equal opportunity employer.
