Financial Systems Analyst (Hybrid)
Join Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions as a Financial Systems Analyst based in Plymouth, MN on a hybrid schedule. This role is part of our Finance team and is responsible for maintaining and improving the general ledger (ERP) and related reporting tools, including Planning Analytics. You will support system security, reporting, chart fields, and rules while ensuring the completeness and accuracy of our ERP and reporting environments.

Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the General Ledger chart of accounts and update various financial statement reporting hierarchies.
Ensure the integration of code values from source systems through ERP to reporting tools, and produce financial statement reports under both IFRS and US Statutory frameworks.
Design, configure, implement, and support security and workflow structures for PeopleSoft modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, and eProcurement, along with associated reporting tools.
Verify reporting tool completeness and accuracy by performing monthly balancing and root‑cause analysis during the monthly close and annual budget cycle; provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting for management.
Build strong relationships between Financial Systems and the Information Technology team to support Finance Business Owners’ objectives; provide input to prioritize financial system projects.
Assist in preparing technical specifications to support the IT team in analyzing, designing, and developing technical solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of relevant experience (internships included), ideally with an accounting concentration or degree.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and financial statement presentation.
Interest in financial systems, data integrity, and process improvement.
Enjoys analyzing and improving process flows; brings a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Customer‑focused with an appreciation for accuracy and completeness in financial reporting.
Proficient in Windows applications; experience with ERPs (e.g., PeopleSoft) and reporting tools is preferred.
Salary and Benefits Typical base salary range: $74,000 – $104,000, adjusted for location and experience.
