Responsibilities
Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging customers with a friendly, courteous conversation and conducting both complex and standard transactions, uncovering client needs.
Educate clients on digital and self‑service solutions, including ATMs, online, and mobile banking.
Support the team sales process by participating in outbound calls, checking client offers, and referring prospects to appropriate branch contacts.
Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
Participate fully in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
Advance individual and product knowledge through sales, service, product meetings, and applicable training.
Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk‑management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, managing a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of teller or cash-handling or client‑service experience.
Six months of client‑relationship building or sales experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; desire to interact with clients and prospects.
Ability to master personal computer keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs, including temporary assignments or locale changes.
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.
Preferred
One year of client‑relationship building or sales experience.
Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention.
Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
