An experienced
Operations Finance Manager
is needed to partner with site leadership at a multi‑site manufacturing organization in the
Plymouth Meeting, PA
area.
The role requires periodic travel to Midwest and West Coast facilities and plays a critical part in driving cost discipline, operational insight, and data‑driven decision‑making while ensuring alignment with corporate financial standards.
Responsibilities
Own site‑level financial planning activities, including budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews
Deliver recurring financial summaries and performance insights to operational leadership
Analyze operational results and identify drivers behind cost, productivity, and efficiency trends
Monitor and evaluate product and process costs, identifying variances and improvement opportunities
Partner with operations to address material, labor, and overhead inefficiencies
Support periodic cost updates and margin improvement initiatives
Provide financial analysis to support investment decisions, including capital projects and process improvements
Assess returns and financial impact of major initiatives and resource allocation decisions
Maintain strong financial controls related to inventory, assets, and plant‑level reporting
Support audit activities and ensure adherence to internal policies and external requirements
Work cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders
Support continuous improvement activities and special initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; MBA, CPA, CMA, or similar preferred
5+ years operations finance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong background in cost accounting, financial analysis, and plant‑level performance metrics
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel‑based models
Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate financial concepts clearly
Detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable operating in a multi‑site environment
