Join us as a Market Data Commercial Analyst. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. The primary purpose of this role is to drive commercial strategy and manage costs effectively. You will collaborate with Market Data vendors, Barclays’ Third Party Risk Management teams, and internal stakeholders to secure favorable contract terms and pricing, while ensuring alignment with Barclays’ third‑party policies and procedures. Additionally, you will oversee compliance with contractual obligations, exchange requirements, and regulatory standards to maintain operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Management and execution of the supplier control processes, including oversight of suppliers and their performance, monitoring of KPIs to guarantee expectations are met.
Collaboration with various stakeholder groups to produce deliverables that meet procurement needs, policies and standards, mitigate supplier risks and issues and ensure supplier relationship aligns with the bank’s needs and business strategy.
Identification of suppliers that will provide the right goods and services through market research, capabilities analysis and contract negotiation.
Monitoring of suppliers’ control operation to meet Barclays Third Party Service provider Management Standards and contractual obligations including quality standards, risk mitigation and commercial activity.
Collaboration with regulatory teams to support Global regulatory requests/exams/ongoing activity.
Essential Qualifications
Proven expertise in Market Data vendor and contract management, including negotiation of favorable terms.
Solid financial acumen, with experience in cost allocation, budgeting, and proficiency in tools such as MDM for accurate reporting and analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Additional Valuable Skills
Expertise in Market Data and vendor management, including negotiation, compliance, and cost optimization.
Ample stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Proficiency in data analysis and financial tools, leveraging insights to support strategic decision‑making and operational efficiency.
Location New York, NY.
Compensation Minimum: $75,000 Maximum: $95,000 (base salary only).
Seniority Level Associate.
