What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Participate in daily DBA operations, including executing SQL scripts and resolving incident tickets related to database availability
Handle database alerts and notifications promptly as part of the on-call rotation
Contribute to ongoing projects related to automation and technology updates
Assist development and QA teams with deployment activities as assigned
Provide 24/7 support for production and lower environments infrastructure
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field
Minimum 3 years of experience managing SQL Server 2016 or newer, Amazon RDS, and Oracle 19c in AWS production environments
Proven experience in managing SQL Server and Oracle databases in a production environment
Clear understanding of backup and recovery procedures for Oracle and SQL Server
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with database performance tuning
Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
Familiarity with AWS Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD methodologies
Professional Certifications in AWS, Azure, and Database technologies
Experience in scripting/deployment languages such as PowerShell or Python
