Perimeter Security Partners (“PSP”) is seeking a motivated Access Control/CCTV wiring technician with strong low‑voltage and network installation experience to maintain and repair access control points (ACPs), electronic security systems, and associated equipment throughout the United States.
Applicants will install ACPs from design to implementation and diagnose, conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on various intrusion detection systems, electronic security systems, and closed‑circuit television systems at industrial, commercial, government, and military sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work independently, prioritizing multiple tasks with minimal supervision as a positive representative for PSP.
Assess, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ACP equipment and CCTV systems.
Maintain constant communication with vendors, subcontractors, technicians, and customers via e‑mail and telephone.
Provide written daily reports on equipment conditions, services performed, and additional work needed.
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance using checklists, manufacturer guidance, and technical expertise.
Develop material and equipment lists and labor estimates to correct deficiencies.
Coordinate with client security and other personnel to safely conduct maintenance while minimizing operational impact.
Prepare and organize electronic documentation after each visit, including receipts, checklists, client signatures, and technician reports.
Plan and execute logistics and travel to job locations.
Requirements & Skills
Minimum 3 years of training or experience in installation or network wiring and ESS equipment.
Professional, positive attitude with diverse coworkers and clients.
Proficiency in system programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Fast Field Forms, and other ERP programs.
Read single‑line drawings and schematics.
Cut and install door strikes and magnetic locks.
Hands‑on experience installing and troubleshooting DVR/CCTV systems.
IT/Networking experience required.
Valid REAL ID driver’s license.
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Pass a federal background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
Arrive on time at all job sites.
Lift up to 50 pounds to waist level.
Work outdoors in adverse weather for extended periods.
Travel by air or up to 8 hours by car.
