Part‑Time Litigation Paralegal (Dallas, TX)
Base Pay
$39.00/hr – $45.00/hr
Job Overview
An award‑winning Dallas firm is looking for a dedicated and experienced Part‑Time Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation group. The role supports fast‑paced litigation, especially insurance defense, and offers a flexible schedule that balances professional and personal commitments.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation from onset through post‑trial. Draft discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, document production requests, and admissions. Review and analyze documents for production. Prepare deposition summaries, pre‑trial reports, and trial materials. Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and other documents. Coordinate and manage deadlines, calendars, and meetings. Liaise between attorneys, clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Litigation Paralegal. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and e‑filing systems. Proven experience drafting discovery requests and responses. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
