Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, focused on applying strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. The Fraud Strategy team guards billions of dollars in customer transactions to prevent fraud while enabling great customer experiences. You will use cutting edge modeling and analytical approaches and partner closely with product and tech to improve fraud defenses. Responsibilities

Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands. Leadership: May manage and develop 1-2 analysts; coach and mentor associates to develop and retain talent. Product: Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for lending products; lead product-level modeling/analytics. Marketing: Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products and strategic intent for products distributed through the retail channel. Build targeted insights to inform design and development of customer experiences and go-to-market strategies. Credit Risk: Drive improvements in credit performance by linking drivers of future trends to historical behavior, create risk models, and test hypotheses with rigorous monitoring and analysis. Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute against the product strategy; oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently. Partnership: Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability. Strategic & analytic orientation: Demonstrate a track record of analytics-based decision making and problem solving; strong quantitative orientation for marketing and credit risk management. Leadership and integrity: Be a tenacious decision-maker with a healthy, responsible approach to business. People leadership: Build and leverage a high-performing team and business partners across the enterprise; foster innovation and hold partners accountable to deliver results. Executive communication: Exceptional written and oral communication with strategic influencing skills to drive agreement. Results orientation: Focus on achieving short- and long-term goals and driving and executing an agenda in a dynamic environment. Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; consulting experience is a plus. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering) At least 2 years of experience in analysis Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business or quantitative fields such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering 5+ years of experience in analysis 2+ years of experience in financial services 1+ year of experience in consulting 2+ years of experience in people management Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. This salary information is solely for candidates hired to work within specific locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Business Manager; Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Business Manager. Other locations follow locality pay ranges; actual offer will be in the offer letter. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses or long-term incentives (LTI).
