Responsibilities
Monitor and manage large volumes of loan closings, reconciling pending trades to client’s trade tickets and coordinating trade closings among counterparties
Build deal templates and user profiles, as well as onboard clients
Review par and distressed trade documentation, resolving trade issues and escalating when necessary
Prepare loan settlement or special client request reports
Work under minimal supervision on complex projects and mentor junior associates
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
Typically, 4 or more years of experience in accounting or finance with knowledge of securities and trade fee calculations
Exposure to high-volume transaction processing and reconciliations
Capable of interpreting credit agreements and direct work experience with transfer documentation
High proficiency in Excel and advanced Microsoft Office skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with daily loan transactions and loan tracking systems
Exposure to both TSI and ClearPar systems
Understanding of broadly syndicated loans
