Job Responsibilities
Perform independent inspections in all fields and produce required reports in a timely manner.
Maintain inspection and testing equipment; complete daily timesheets and monthly mileage reports.
Assist Project Managers generating monthly estimates in SiteManager; perform closeout activities, final quantities and As-Built Drawings.
Perform construction verification surveys and operate survey equipment during these surveys; responsible for preconstruction layout activities and data collection.
Ensure collection of and/or collect samples and certifications relating to construction inspection activities.
Assist with training other inspectors in all areas of inspection and survey verification.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and one (1) year of experience related to the area of employment, or an approved acceptable equivalence.
Physical demands involve frequent bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs; walking for extended periods, treading rough terrain, working in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards.
May require occasional exposure to noise.
May require working outside normal work schedules and weekends.
