Overview Einstein Bros. Bagels is a family‑owned company that has been baking fresh bagels daily since 1995. We believe our bakeries do more than make breakfast; we aim to spread joy, laughter, and community while offering a work‑life balance. Our stores close at 2 pm, so you’ll work early in the day and never have to miss a dance recital, concert, or other daytime commitments.
We are looking for a next‑generation General Manager candidate. Becoming a District Shift Leader is a stepping‑stone on that path. District Shift Leaders participate in a targeted GM‑development plan and, upon completion, are next in line to take ownership of a bakery when a GM position becomes available.
What’s a Day in the Life of a District Shift Leader? District Shift Leaders perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Travel provides the opportunity to gain further independence and learn from additional leaders. Shifts begin as early as 3 am for bake‑and‑store opening duties. Leaders set an example, act as brand ambassadors, and coach and train teams. They juggle multiple roles each shift to ensure high‑quality food, beverages, and a safe, clean environment.
The GM‑development plan includes training in administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, P&L analysis, food‑cost and labor-target achievement, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members.
Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Qualifications
Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market
Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available (specific location not guaranteed)
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3 am)
Must be able to pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license
Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, if a valid certification is not already in possession
Tip eligibility subject to state regulations
Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire
Location & Pay Address: 104 E 29th Street #A, Loveland, Colorado 80538
Hourly Rate: $14.57 – $21.86 per hour
Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations
Ranges reflect what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such a position
Minimum 30 hours per week.
Physical Demands The physical demands for this position are sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
