Summary / Objective Reporting to the Vice President of Member Engagement, the Strategic Engagement Specialist is dedicated to supporting mid‑market and larger group dental practices. This role manages high‑touch engagement from lead generation through ongoing member success, focusing on procurement software integration, vendor utilization, and maximizing value across locations. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role ensures a seamless experience from initial interest and onboarding through continuous consultation, vendor alignment, and membership growth.

Essential Functions

Educate prospective mid‑market members and manage their onboarding to ELITE platforms and vendor partners.

Maintain ongoing communication, monitor benefit usage, and optimize vendor and procurement platform adoption.

Participate in partner consults and provide timely member support.

Keep accurate member and vendor data updated in the CRM and support internal reporting.

Work with teams and stay informed on vendor offerings to support member success.

Responsibilities & Duties

Lead Engagement

Identify prospective mid‑market members’ needs, educating leads on ELITE membership benefits and value.

Present demos, provide follow‑up support, and assist with the registration process to drive conversions.

Maintain an ongoing relationship to maximize member engagement and utilization of benefits.

Member Onboarding & Vendor Partner Connections

Guide new members through the onboarding journey, introducing ELITE platforms, benefits, and procurement workflows.

Facilitate smooth integration by connecting members with appropriate vendor partners aligned to their practice size and procurement needs.

Set clear expectations and provide resources to ensure timely, effective participation.

Ongoing Membership Reviews & Utilization

Conduct regular membership reviews to assess benefit usage, vendor adoption, and procurement platform integration.

Keep member profiles updated and tailored to reflect evolving practice needs and growth.

Identify opportunities to optimize vendor utilization and procurement cost savings.

Consults & Member Support

Participate in consults with vendor partners, offering expert advice on how the ELITE membership supports their operational and procurement goals.

Resolve member inquiries with professionalism, maintaining strong, positive relationships.

Promote membership renewals and additional services through proactive communication.

Payment Collections & Account Management

Manage collection activities to ensure timely member payments, addressing concerns or disputes with care.

Coordinate with the ELITE Financial Operations Analyst to resolve outstanding balances and support members in keeping their accounts current.

Cooperative Support & Backup

Actively contribute insights and feedback in team meetings to refine processes and enhance member experience.

Provide backup support to Member Services, assisting with calls, emails, and inquiries during peak times.

Support company growth through ideas and operational improvements.

Data Management & CRM Accountability

Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in CRM systems, including member interactions, vendor connections, and follow‑ups.

Ensure data integrity for efficient support and reporting.

Vendor Knowledge & Training

Stay current on ELITE’s vendor network offerings, pricing, promotions, and service updates.

Participate actively in training to ensure members receive informed and up‑to‑date vendor guidance.

Job Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.

1–3 years of experience in sales development, consultative sales, customer service, or related roles with demonstrated success in lead generation, qualification, and meeting or exceeding KPIs.

Hands‑on experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Monday.com.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, applying a consultative, relationship‑focused sales approach.

Experience working with mid‑market or multi‑location dental or healthcare group practices is highly preferred.

Familiarity with the dental industry is beneficial but not required.

Proven ability to recommend tailored solutions and advocate effectively for member needs.

Travel Some travel is required for annual company meetings, industry events, and partner‑hosted conferences or trainings.

Work Environment This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time, exempt position with an onsite work schedule. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., with some flexibility in hours allowed based on management’s discretion.

Our compensation and benefit structure is comprised of many factors, including but not limited to the size of our Company, our financial position, the industry, business objectives, market salary information, benchmark pay levels and practices against the respective peer group (to ensure equal pay for equal work, with allowable pay differences based on factors not prohibited by law), and unique circumstances of the Firm that are subject to change.

Compensation Minimum: $60,000.00 – Maximum: $70,000.00
