The Opportunity The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. Service Leaders work while clocked in, evaluating tasks and assisting crew when not busy.
What You’ll Do
Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
Help resolve food quality issues
Support food safety, ensuring hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist
Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules
Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew
Assist with crew performance reviews
Develop future Service Leaders
Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties (banking, cash handling, office paperwork)
Ensure office equipment remains in working order and office supplies are ordered as needed
What You’ll Bring To The Table
Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
Familiarity with office paperwork
Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
High school diploma
Restaurant experience
