Job Description Security Officer – Auto Patrol Coverage – Louisville, KY. Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated auto industry locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with people on‑site, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license.

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include automotive manufacturing or related facilities.
Observe for suspicious activity and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to deter unauthorized access.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to help deter security‑related risks and support a secure environment.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation and drug screening per applicable law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.
