Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time) Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders Supports customer engagement where opportunities arise, including understanding customer needs, locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise Engages with customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions; guides them through projects when necessary Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs Maintains in-stock conditions; moves or replaces displays, rotates stock, builds products, and displays products and support materials using appropriate equipment per reset/project instructions Identifies damaged products, removes them from shelves, and handles them for return or replacement as needed Verifies buyback items and ensures they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping Identifies damaged or missing signage and collateral and orders replacements per merchandising standards and planogram details Ensures pricing information is visible and accurate; updates pricing labels as needed Updates wayfinding and product location signage and maintains digital information across the store Ensures proper placement of cross-merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks, and gravity feed bins to support add-on sales Works with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale Sorts products to ensure correct location; merchandises plants according to plantogram and prepares displays for opening standards Maintains clean and safe stores; completes necessary safety checks and repairs as needed Reviews and documents completion details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks Maintains safe and secure work environment and adheres to safety requirements relevant to the role Operates store equipment as needed per role and department requirements Performs additional duties as assigned Maintains point-of-sale signage and updates price changes as required Audits and updates pricing labels inside and outside the store Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education Preferred Qualifications
6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience 6 Months of experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and plantograms 3 Months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers Pay Range: $16.90 - $17.20 per hour Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
