Overview Razorfish seeks a hands‑on, hybrid editor and videographer to join a tight‑knit production team for an energy company. The role is client‑facing, working on‑site with diverse teams to edit and shoot internal and external digital, social and event content.
Responsibilities
Video editing: Edit footage into high‑quality content for social media platforms.
Optimize videos for various platforms and devices, applying social‑first editing, pacing, lighting and safety‑zone graphics.
Videography: Use DSLR and studio cameras; manage lighting, audio mixing, and recording with wired and wireless mics.
Post‑production: Color grading, sound editing, troubleshooting tech specs and delivery issues; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve; QC to ensure final files are error‑free and meet delivery specifications.
Project management: Report to the agency producer; maintain assets; meet deadlines; manage multiple tasks; keep up to date on trends; deliver engaging and error‑free video content.
Qualifications
3–5 years of professional experience in video editing and videography.
Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and color grading / sound editing.
Strong storytelling, pacing, timing; familiarity with social media and pop culture.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Creative problem‑solving, attention to detail, and strong time‑management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines; possible overtime or weekend work; willingness to appear in content as needed.
Portfolio showcasing best work in both video editing and videography.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects).
Previous experience in social content creation and advertising.
