Associate Attorney - Personal Injury (Litigation & Pre-Litigation)

*Well-established St. Louis personal injury law firm* is seeking a *full-time Associate Attorney* to handle both *litigation and pre-litigation personal injury cases*. This position is ideal for an experienced PI litigator who wants meaningful case responsibility, trial exposure, and direct client interaction. All inquiries are strictly confidential. About the Role The *ideal candidate is a seasoned personal injury litigation attorney* who will help strengthen our litigation department and manage a caseload from intake through resolution. You will handle a revolving caseload of approximately *75–100 personal injury matters* (primarily motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation). You will have *extensive client, adjuster, and provider contact* and significant autonomy, with support from experienced staff. Required Qualifications Please apply only if you meet all of the following: * *Active Missouri law license (required)* * Experience handling *personal injury claims* (plaintiff preferred) * Demonstrated *litigation experience* (depositions, motions, hearings, etc.) * Strong writing, communication, and negotiation skills * Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic * Desire to advocate for injury victims Preferred but not required: * Jury trial experience * Experience handling wrongful death or workers’ compensation claims Duties and Responsibilities * Handle personal injury cases *from intake through trial or settlement* * Manage litigation and pre-litigation caseload independently * Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel * Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances * Maintain regular client communication * Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence * Research and negotiate medical liens * Assist with new client intakes and case evaluations Compensation * *$125,000 – $250,000+ realistic first-year earnings* * Includes base salary *plus bonus structure* * Salary is *commensurate with experience* * Compensation *may exceed range* for highly qualified candidates Practice Areas Exposure * Auto accidents / MVA * Wrongful death * Workers’ compensation * General personal injury matters Job Type: Full-time Pay: $125,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
