Job Summary
As an Account Manager, you will be personally responsible for — and rewarded for — driving the ongoing success of Mid-State Industrial Maintenance (MSIM). You will cultivate a deep understanding of client facilities, provide technical solutions that enhance efficiency, and help ensure safe operating electrical systems. In partnership with the Division Sales Manager, you’ll execute the go-to-market strategy, drive profitable revenue growth, and expand our vertical-market client base and geographic reach.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying potential clients to securing deals.
Cultivate long-term partnerships through networking and proactive engagement.
Conduct routine audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for client projects.
Oversee quality control measures for on-site work.
Schedule subcontractors to meet project timelines and milestones.
Collaborate closely with the Operations team for timely project execution.
Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels within client organizations.
Execute plans to ensure consistent communication with existing customers and key prospects.
Identify and capture profitable revenue opportunities.
Attend trade meetings to gather information and establish contacts.
Resolve post-sale client issues effectively.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience (5+ years) in lieu of a degree.
Experience
Electrical field experience required.
Prior sales or marketing experience in electrical services/maintenance.
Experience in utility and power generation industries preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient in preparing electronic take-offs and estimates.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of success.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset.
Work Location and Travel
The main office is located at 2730 Mine and Mill Road, Lakeland, FL.
Travel to client and customer sites is required.
Days and hours of work may vary to include some evenings and weekends.

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Interaction with various stakeholders in industrial settings is common, emphasizing safety and operational efficiency.

Carry, Weight, Lift: Frequently able to lift up to 25 lbs to carry materials to/from client locations.
Climb: Occasional climbing of stairs in heavy industrial environments.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl: Rarely may be required to perform these actions.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
