Position Description Join our newly opened Mount Sinai Heart Program at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY! As a Cardiac Thoracic OR RN, you’ll work in a state‑of‑the‑art facility alongside expert cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists, delivering world‑class cardiac care to our community. Requirements
Current and valid NYS registration authorizing practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (BSN is preferred)
RN experience with Open Heart in the OR
Clinical experience/skills relevant to Thoracic Surgery
3 years’ experience with circulating and scrub experience
Completion of annual mandatory in‑service education (Hospital/Nursing)
Excellent English verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency
BLS certification
