Summary The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team, primarily responsible for technical, multipurpose direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT works under the supervision of a licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs and the PCT’s skill level and abilities. The PCT provides care for adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification required; previous acute care CNA experience preferred.
CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider).
