Diagnostic Medical Vascular Sonographer Nights Job Description: Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives. Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient 0s medical situation. Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams. Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets promptly, re-scanning patients as requested by Radiologists. Communicates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, including notifying physicians of abnormal findings. Utilizes computer systems to update exam status, manage orders, and ensure accurate charges. Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment safely, adhering to infection control standards. Performs a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and rotates between multiple departments as needed. Assists with clinical instructions and serves as a resource to less experienced employees. Participates in performance improvement activities and contributes to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent; Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification (RQI preferred).
Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) or equivalent EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $28.68 - $53.35
