The Interventional Radiology Tech provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department and performs high‑quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. This role follows standards of safe radiation practice and demonstrates leadership abilities, serving as a role model for other associate technologists and a clinical resource to unit personnel.
Schedule may include on‑call shifts.
Job Requirements
One year imaging experience strongly preferred
HS/GED required
Associate’s degree strongly preferred
Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular‑Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular‑Interventional Radiology – R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) required
Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association preferred
Physical Requirements Medium Work – (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, up to 20lbs frequently, and up to 10lbs constantly)
Where You’ll Work Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center offering a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including a dedicated field‑to‑surgery suite ready 24/7. The hospital has earned Magnet® designation and numerous other awards and accreditations. Staff work in a fast‑paced environment across trauma, cardiology, stroke, neurosciences, breast imaging, cancer/oncology, surgery, and more.
Pay Range $34.40 - $52.06 /hour
