Job Overview Full‑time Registered Nurse – Night Shift at Yellow Rock Behavioral Health.

Shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. (Night). 12 k bonus available.

Salary: $36.00–$42.00 per hour (adjusted by experience). Shift differentials up to $6.00 per hour.

About the Facility Yellow Rock Behavioral Health is a 102‑bed psychiatric residential facility serving boys and girls aged 11‑17 with problematic sexual behaviors, providing empirically‑validated treatment and support through a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.

Develop and implement nursing care plans.

Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.

Provide nursing care within scope of practice and policies.

Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed appropriately.

Assess patients’ status continuously and document pertinent information.

Notify physicians of significant changes or emergencies.

Complete initial nursing treatment plans upon admission.

Use universal precautions during direct patient care.

Administer medications accurately per ordered notes.

Document controlled substance administration counts.

Process admission and discharge efficiently.

Maintain therapeutic rapport with patients, respecting boundaries.

Coordinate unit activities as directed.

Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors, coworkers, and others.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited program.

Current RN license in the state of employment (or eligibility to practice).

At least one year of nursing experience; psychiatric or substance‑abuse nursing experience preferred.

CPR and de‑escalation & restraint certification (training available on hire).

First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements.
