LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse / $6,000 Sign-on Bonus We are hiring a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and those facing mental health & substance use challenges at RHA Health Services in La Grange, NC.

Pay:

Competitive, depending on experience.

Sign-on Bonus:

$6,000. For full & part‑time positions.

Schedule: 1st shift: 7 am – 7 pm 2nd shift: 7 pm – 7 am Full‑time or part‑time

Location:

5840 Greenwood Drive, La Grange, NC 28551.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services.

Provide health‑related training to unlicensed personnel.

Administer medications and treatments or assist with medication administration.

Ensure preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled.

Conduct medication compliance assessments.

Collect health‑related data.

Observe for and report any abnormal health findings to the physician.

Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the interdisciplinary team.

Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health.

Requirements:

Graduated from an accredited licensed nurse program.

Current nursing license with no restrictions.

Current CPR certification or eligibility to obtain certification.

Strong communication skills with interdisciplinary team, people supported, and families.

Ability to work independently, organized, and prioritize tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 20–40 pounds, pull 25 pounds, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, stoop, stand, walk, and demonstrate proficiency in CPR from a floor level. Visual acuity: close, distance, peripheral vision. Must be able to communicate.
