Senior Bilingual Engineering Manager (Pharmaceutical Regulated Industry)
Senior Engineering Manager (Bilingual) leads the plant Asset Care team, including Facilities, Planned Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, and Automation/Controls. The role drives plant-wide maintenance to ensure high asset uptime, reasonable costs, and safe, reliable performance while complying with quality systems and safety regulations. Regular attendance and upholding company values are essential, along with fluency in English and Spanish.
Yearly Base Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute site-wide planned maintenance strategy while managing preventative maintenance spend to budget.
Build high-performing technical team to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
Ensure equipment efficiency through timely, thorough Preventative Maintenance completion.
Oversee Tool Crib operations to maintain optimal spare parts inventory levels.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, performance, and cost savings.
Monitor MTTR, MTBF, failure trends, and maintenance costs to prioritize improvements.
Partner with Manufacturing teams to eliminate repetitive breakdowns.
Lead change management for engineering, maintenance, people, structure, and technology.
Communicate critical equipment reliability actions to management.
Harmonize processes and enforce technical standards using latest maintenance methodologies.
Benchmark against internal sites and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10+ years engineering experience, including 5+ years in managerial roles.
5+ years in pharmaceutical regulated industry.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Validations, and Improvement Methodologies.
Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or OSHA certifications.
