Compensation & Schedule Salary: $51.76 - $69.88 per hour (based on experience) Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.00 Shift: Days (8 hours) Hours per pay period: 80 Days off: Variable
Position Summary The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population with varying diagnoses. The therapist will assess, identify, and treat deficits impacting posture, locomotion, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, joint mobility, flexibility, pain, and functional abilities in daily living. The therapist provides instruction and education to patients/caregivers to promote safe execution of therapies.
Desired Background One year experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health, or outpatient setting.
Minimum Qualifications Current Physical Therapy license from the State of California, or be a California licensed applicant (must complete next available examination). Current CPR recognition.
Skills & Abilities Demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills, and sensitivity for patients and families. Provide treatment to address realistic needs and goals. Must be able to fulfill essential functions of the position.
