Overview
Fowler Packing Company is looking for a creative, detail-driven graphic designer to join our in-house marketing team. This role supports a wide range of internal and external projects, including corporate communications and brand work for Peelz Citrus and Samsons Grapes. You’ll collaborate across departments to bring concepts to life, from packaging and presentations to social content and national ad campaigns. If you’re someone who can juggle multiple projects while delivering clean, compelling design, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities Design materials for both print and digital use, including packaging (new designs and edits)
Sales one-sheets and promotional materials
Quarterly and annual reports
Internal employee communications
Apparel and swag design
Social and video graphic assets
Out-of-home (OOH), print ads, and digital banner ads
Support social media content creation through compelling visuals and layouts
Ensure consistency of brand identity across Peelz and Samsons assets
Collaborate with the Creative Manager and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and bring concepts to life
Prep and package design files for production and vendor handoff
Occasionally assist with photo and video shoots
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
2 to 4 years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or agency)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects a plus)
A strong, visually striking portfolio demonstrating your creativity, range, and eye for detail is required
Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills
Experience designing for both print and digital formats
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) strongly preferred
Experience in packaging design and pre-press setup (preferred, not required)
Familiarity with AI-powered creative and content tools (e.g., MidJourney, ChatGPT, or similar) is a plus
Motion graphics or video editing skills
Photography and photo editing experience
