As a

Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist FT

in

Columbia, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security incidents and provide a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, offering outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem-solve, following protocols for healthcare environments.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to maintain a visible security presence.

Document and report incidents, observations, and activities per site protocols and guidelines.

Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities during incidents or emergencies.

Remain alert to potential hazards and report findings promptly.

Minimum Requirements

Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.

At least six months of security-related experience.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Background investigation required.

Drug screen required as permitted by law.

Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
