Security Officer – Retail Part‑Time
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Rover Officer to support retail operations.
Mission As a Tactical Security Officer you will patrol sensitive environments – such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, and related facilities – to proactively identify and neutralize potential risks.

Site Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: 16 hours per week
1st Shift: Friday–Saturday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
2nd Shift: Friday–Saturday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
3rd Shift: Friday–Saturday, 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
4th Shift: Friday–Saturday, 4:00 pm – 12:00 pm
5th Shift: Friday–Saturday, 4:00 pm – 12:00 pm
6th Shift: Friday–Saturday, 4:00 pm – 12:00 pm
Availability for all shifts is required; shift times may vary.
Competitive hourly wage of $19 / hr (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas to detect suspicious activity
Verify identities and control access to secure zones
React rapidly to threats or incidents
Check functionality of alarms and cameras
Document incidents and actions taken
Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site inspections
Coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents
Ensure safety of individuals and property
Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States
High‑school diploma or GED (documentation required)
Pass an extensive screening process
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
First‑aid certification is an asset
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred
State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32‑hour BSIS security training (available during hiring process)
