Security Officer - Access Control Specialist

Sarasota, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol designated locations to help deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming environment, while your communication skills will support positive interactions with everyone on site. This part‑time position offers flexibility and opportunities for growth through the Claim a Shift platform.

Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation per all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws.
Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
