Overview
The College seeks to build a pool of qualified applicants to teach Television Studio Production 121. This role provides students with a hands‑on experience in pre‑production and production in a live television studio environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in live studio production, effective communication skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to foster an inclusive and interactive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures that cover the principles of television studio production, including camera operation, lighting, directing, sound, graphics, technical direction, set design, and prompter.
Demonstrate production equipment operation and safety guidelines.
Facilitate group productions in a controlled studio environment.
Assign and grade productions, projects, and exams to assess student understanding.
Provide timely and constructive feedback and support to help students succeed academically.
Cultivate an inclusive production environment that promotes collaboration and proper production etiquette.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Broadcasting, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.
Real work experience in television studio production.
Prior teaching experience at the college level (plus).
Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations
Need for daytime classes; limited evening sessions available at Lincroft Campus.
Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
