Kama‘āina Kids, Hawai‘i’s largest locally owned nonprofit childcare organization, is hiring
One-on-One Group Leaders
to support keiki with special needs in our After School Program. In this role, you’ll build trust, encourage independence, and help one child fully participate in a safe, joyful learning environment. This position is well-suited for aspiring teachers, SPED professionals, RBTs, or anyone passionate about inclusive education and child development.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized support that helps a child engage, grow, and thrive alongside their peers.
Ideal Part-Time Schedule
Weekday afternoons only — perfect for college students or those seeking rewarding, flexible work.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Genuine love for working with children
NO Teaching Certificate required
Experience as an RBT, SPED aide, paraprofessional—or eagerness to learn
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 1:45 PM–5:30 PM
Wednesdays (early release): 12:30 PM start
No weekends. No nights. No take-home prep.
