Referral Coordinator - ECU IM Endocrinology Employer: ECU Health

Position Summary

The Referral Coordinator must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate operations of the referral processes, including, but not limited to pre‑certifications and scheduling appointments. They will coordinate the operations and processes of the Centralized Referral Office, operate office equipment, and perform additional duties as required by the practice manager.

Pay Range

$16.64 – $24.26 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or higher, plus 1–2 years of formal training or education.

1–3 years of related work experience.

Knowledge of CPT and ICD‑9/10 coding.

Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Computer skills, including Excel and Word.

Medical office experience is preferred.
