Job Title Phlebotomist
Location Dallas, GA
Job Description This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of donors and purity of product as a result of the plasma collection process. The phlebotomist monitors the donor throughout the collection process for equipment errors, donor reactions, or any unexpected events, taking appropriate actions when any unexpected event occurs. They must be capable of interpreting the results of the health history and vital signs in relation to the criteria as outlined in the company procedures.
Setup of automated collection instruments.
Monitoring of donors through the collection process.
Disconnection of donors from the automated instrument and management of Level 1 reactions.
Ensuring product integrity of the plasma unit and associated samples.
Dispositioning products and collecting appropriate samples while ensuring products are frozen and stored per ADMA procedures.
Staging units for shipment and samples for testing, physically arranging samples and cases in freezer for organization.
Representing the organization by interacting professionally, courteously, and attentively with donors at all times.
Teamwork, respect, and courtesy with coworkers at all times.
Taking initiative to enhance work-related skills to obtain the Advanced Phlebotomist position.
Cross‑training and successful qualification for plasma processing and donor screener functions as a standard expectation of the role.
