Responsibilities Job Summary: The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Perform MRI Examinations
Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort
Administration of Contrast Media
Maintain MRI Equipment and Safety Standards
Collaboration with multi-disciplinary health care team
Document and Manage Patient Information
Research of Implantable Devices for MRI Compatibility
Adhere to Compliance and Regulatory Standards
Assist with Workflow and Operational Efficiency
Shift schedule: Monday through Friday working 2nd shift. No weekends!
Qualifications
ARRT (MR) preferred
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
One year MRI experience preferred
Compensation details: 2.67-3.74
