ARRT Radiology / Limited License X‑Ray Technologist at Physicians Care - FT/PRN
Physicians Care is looking for experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X‑Ray Technologists to join our team in South Pittsburg, TN. This position performs X‑ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, and performs medical‑assistant duties.
Key Responsibilities
Promptly greet patients and communicate wait times.
Assist with patient check‑in/out and vital‑sign documentation.
Perform radiology procedures and quality‑control checks.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring radiation protection.
Maintain and report equipment status; maintain licensure and certification.
Assume responsibility for continuing education and skill improvement.
Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize situations needing help.
Execute follow‑up calls with a sense of urgency.
Assist front desk personnel when required.
Document patient visits accurately following procedure protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
BLS certification.
Arizona State X‑Ray License.
ARRT certification preferred.
Experience as a medical assistant preferred.
Schedule Full‑time team members work a rotating 36‑40 hour/week schedule of 12‑hour weekday shifts and every‑other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.
