REGISTERED NURSE (RN): Nights (12-hour shifts)
Full‑time, 12‑hour night shifts (6:30 pm‑7:00 am). The schedule rotates every other weekend and holiday. Part‑time and PRN positions are available, with some benefits and sign‑on bonus excluded. Overtime and shift‑coverage opportunities are available.
Location Roxbury Treatment Center, Shippensburg, PA. 112‑bed behavioral health facility offering acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults, and an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13‑17. The center also operates outpatient substance use disorder offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg.
Job Responsibilities
Provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in accordance with Roxbury Treatment Center’s philosophy and objectives.
Prescribes, coordinates, and delegates nursing care.
Completes nursing assessments and documents patient care and progress each shift.
Facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.
Responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
Attends Treatment Team meetings to aid in the development of patient care plans.
Oversees and directs the mental health technicians in patient care activities.
Accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
May assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania (or eligible to receive or renew).
Current CPR or BLS certification.
