Northbound Executive Search
A NYC-based financial services firm is seeking an experienced Event Planner to join its Marketing team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end event execution, with a strong focus on global roadshows and high-touch events. This is an immediate need and will start on a consultant basis.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on event professional who thrives in fast‑paced environments, is comfortable with frequent travel, and has experience supporting senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Own and execute soup‑to‑nuts event planning, from initial concept through post‑event wrap‑up
Plan and manage global roadshows, including logistics, scheduling, and on‑site execution
Coordinate all event logistics including venues, vendors, travel, catering, production, and materials
Travel extensively to event locations and provide on‑site event management and support
Partner closely with internal teams, senior leadership, and external vendors
Manage timelines, budgets, contracts, and post‑event reporting
Handle multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and high service standards
Qualifications
Proven experience in end‑to‑end event planning, ideally within financial services or a corporate environment
Strong experience managing roadshows or multi‑city events
Comfortable with heavy domestic and international travel
Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work on‑site in NYC and travel as required
Calm under pressure with strong problem‑solving instincts
