Faculty Support Specialist Pearson is seeking a Faculty Support Specialist to provide high‑level faculty support, answer inquiries, coach Faculty Support Agents, manage escalations, and support course builds and onboarding. The role requires leadership, strong time‑management, resourcefulness, and excellent communication skills.

About This Role / What You Will Be Doing The successful applicant will join a team responsible for providing the highest level of faculty support to Pearson educators, answering inquiries and building understanding with Pearson courseware and its functionality. As part of the team, you will aid the Faculty Support Agents, coach them, and take escalations that require expert help. You will also proactively check in with top adoptions and engage with at‑risk adoptions that need added support. The candidate will handle course builds and guidance for accounts that need higher service level, support associates, manage escalations, assist special adoptions, and run instructor onboarding sessions. Hours are 8 AM–8 PM EST, Monday‑Friday. Current openings are 10 AM–7 PM EST and 11 AM–8 PM EST; additional coverage, including weekends, may be required during peak periods.

Your Background / What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of experience supporting faculty onboarding or technology set‑up.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear, professional, and persuasive.

Curiosity, creative thinking, analytical skills, and ability to explore alternative solutions.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, meeting multiple deadlines.

Knowledge of educational technology and willingness to learn new technology.

Active learning of new skills and sharing with the team.

Highly motivated, energetic, and collaborative personality.

Ability to work cross‑functional teams to resolve faculty needs quickly.

Demonstrated leadership, personal responsibility, accountability, teamwork.

Flexibility for schedule changes or additional coverage; occasional travel may be required.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Must be able to sit or stand at a personal computer for a reasonable length of time typing and reading.

Experience with Pearson Higher Education products and tools is a bonus.

Compensation and Benefits Full‑time salary range: $55,000 – $60,000. Eligible for Pearson’s annual incentive program. Benefits information is available on Pearson’s website.
