ABOUT THE ROLE

At Drexel, we value continuous improvement and the professional growth of our team. Drexel is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving development for operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an organized project manager with a passion for adult learning, capable of managing large-scale "Development Days" while maintaining, organizing, and supporting the creation of a library of high-quality training materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES Curriculum & SOP Development

Translate SOPs into Training: Collaborate with departmental leads to turn complex Standard Operating Procedures into digestible, interactive training materials.

Design and produce quality training aids, including slide decks, agendas, checklists, "how-to" documents & videos, and quick-reference guides.

Regularly audit and update existing training materials to ensure they reflect the most current content and best practices.

Departmental Support

Lead the logistical planning and execution of Drexel Departmental Development Days, including scheduling, agenda building, and consulting on content.

Assist in the delivery of training sessions, ensuring a high level of engagement and knowledge retention.

Act as a point of contact for departments looking to customize their professional development calendars.

Administration & Tracking

LMS Management: Upload and track training completion within Paylocity Learning Management System (LMS).

Analyze training feedback and assessment scores to provide feedback on the effectiveness of training material.

Maintain and organize all departmental training materials.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Instructional Design:

Familiarity with instructional design frameworks.

Communication:

Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon for a general audience.

Adaptability:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously for different departments with varying needs.
